As part of the ongoing Naga peace talks, deputy National Security Advisor (NSA) and central government’s interlocutor for the Naga peace talks R.N. Ravi is all set to to arrive in Dimapur on March 25 to hold talks with the NSCN/GPRN.
Within a short span of time, this will be second visit of R.N. Ravi to Nagaland.

According to media reports, both the parties for the first time will hold a dialogue at Dimapur.
A report published by Nagaland Post stated that the NSCN (I-M) will be led by the outfit’s general secretary and chief negotiator Th. Muivah while deputy NSA Ravi will represent the central government.
The report quoted Ravi as saying: “NSCN has requested for a talk and I am coming there.”
However, Ravi informed that the date for the talk on the ongoing Naga peace process is yet to be fixed.
Regarding the simultaneous talk with the working committee of the Naga National Political Groups (NNPGs), Ravi reportedly said: “This time there is no scheduled meeting with them at Dimapur.”
Last time, Ravi had toured Nagaland on a two-day visit on February 26 & 27.
During his last visit, he held a series of meetings with various stakeholders, apex tribal bodies, legislators, civil organisations and informed them about the status of the Naga peace process.
As per the report, Ravi in an interview with Nagaland Post, said the government of India was ready to consider Naga flag for Pan Naga cultural body and will term the final agreement on the naga issue as Naga ‘Yehzabo’.
Deputy NSA Ravi in January also announced that a proposed accord with the Naga rebel groups was expected to be concluded soon.
