A free health camp has been organized on Sunday at Satya Sai School, Oloni (Dharbam) of Khetri faon panchayat, in Kamrup (Metro) district under the aegis of an NGO Haemato Trust and Assam Medical College Alumnus, Greater Guwahati.

Specialist doctors belonging to gastroenterology, haematology, general medicine, ophthalmology and general physicians and also an ophthalmic team from Sri Sankardev Netralaya, Beltola, Guwahati rendered their services to more than 200 needy people.

Free testing for routine examination of blood, blood sugar etc were done by a group of Pathologists from Saharia Pathological Laboratory and Arya Wellness Centre, Guwahati

Dr Sangit Dutta , Dr Jina Bhattacharya, Dr Nabajyoti Dutta , Dr Damodar Das , Dr Dhiren Saharia, Dr Anil Agarwal , Dr Lutfur Rahman ( Retired Col) , Dr Nirmal Kr Beria and paramedical staffs rendered their free services.

Free medicines were distributed and free Cataract surgery will be performed for Cataract detected cases.

Jiten Sarmah , principal of the Satya Sai High School and local social entrepreneur Nikita Swargiary, a social worker and her team extended logistic support for successful conduct of the camp.
