The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) led Higher Secondary (+2) and Madrasa Fazil (HS+2 stages) examinations began from Friday across the State.

The TBSE led Madhyamik (secondary) and Madrasa Alim is beginning from Saturday and will end on April 3 next.

In North District too, the examination has began. A total of 2819 students are appearing in the HS examination in North district and among them 1353 are boys and 1466 are girls. Examination is being held in four centres under 10 venues.

It is to be mentioned here that altogether 27,196 candidates are appearing for the HS (+2) and Madrasa Fazil examinations through 69 centres and 81 examinations venues across the State.

According to the source, 13,980 candidates are boys and rest 13,920 candidates are girls. This year there are 2000 more candidates compared to last year.

The source also added that a total of 46,585 candidates including 21,739 boys and 24,846 girls will appear in the Madhyamik and Madrasa Alim examinations from 76 centres and 151 examination venues which is scheduled to begin from Saturday.
