The match between Oil India Football Club, Duliajan and Shillong Football Club tied 1-1 at the 65th edition of Bordoloi trophy football tournament group ‘A’ at Chowkidinghee field here.
For Shillong FC, Lakhon Surong scored the first goal in the 28th minute through a header. In the second half, Shillong FC players missed some two easy scoring opportunity.
Mintu Boro of Oil India FC equalized the goal in the 78th minute by converting a pass from F. Warry.
Shillong FC grow into the game and especially dominated the play in the middle of the park but visibly lacked teeth in the final third. The audiences have showed a great sprit in the game but at last Oil India FC get an opportunity and scored the goal.
One points each shared between both the teams. In the inaugural match, Oil India played a great match against BSF, Jalandhar and defeated them by a margin of 2-0.
It will be great to see how Oil India FC players hold their nerves against ASEB on November 2. Tomorrow, ASEB will play BSF, Jalandhar.
