The music lovers had a surprising moment in the national capital as Assam’s music sensations Zubeen Garg and Angaraag Papon Mahanta shared the stage at North East Festival in India Gate on Friday night.

With their duet performance on the stage at the North East Festival, the music sensations from Assam enthralled a large gathering of music lovers.

To woo their fans from Assam, both the singers churned out a soulful Bihu number which received thunderous applause from their admirers.

Zubeen, who was present at the back stage to cheer for him, joined Papon when the organizers announced that the Feeling Blue hit-maker was also present in the venue. When the fans of Zubeen went crazy to witness the performance of Zubeen too, both the singers performed together to the satisfaction of both the singers.

Zubeen garg will again perform at the North East Festival stage tonight.

Informing about the festival, Zubeen Garg on his Faceook page on Friday stated that music, food, fashion, craft, sports North East Festival will have it all.

He posted: “I’m the only artiste who have performed in each edition of North East Festival, it’s like my own. I love to perform in front of the lovely crowd and the beautiful NEF ambience in Delhi.”

The singer, who is also the Brand Ambassador of the North East Festival, while inviting people to the festival to witness his performance tonight, stated: “As a Brand Ambassador I will like to invite all of you. Entry is free. I will perform on coming Saturday night. Book your date 27th October, 2018. Come one come all.”

Papon, while uploading some picture of the moments of his performance at the festival on Friday night, stated on his Twitter handle on Saturday: “DiLLi it’s always so good to perform for you! Thank you for all the love! ?? Last night was beautiful! Sharing some moments from the North East Festival at India Gate, New Delhi last night captured beautifully by Sam Manas Barman.”
