Continuing with the series of engagements, Sikkim Governor Ganga Prasad on Thursday afternoon called on Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh at North Block in New Delhi.
A press release informed that it was a courtesy call where the Governor and the Union Minister discussed various issues concerning Sikkim with special reference to peace, stability and border management along its eastern and northern frontiers.
In the evening, the Governor called on Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu at his official residence in New Delhi.
It also was a courtesy call by the Governor where he has also extended invitation to the Vice President to visit the State at any convenient date, the release mentioned.
