Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Part Time Medical Consultant on purely temporary basis at IIT Guwahati Hospital. Selected Consultant will have to visit the
Institute two (02) days in a week for a minimum of four (04) hours per day. The IIT Guwahati Hospital is present inside the scenic IIT Guwahati campus .It had started functioning from the present building from March, 2006. The present area of hospital is 20,000sq.ft.Hospital has 24 hrs. Doctor, Nursing, Emergency service for its patients are got from in house and outsourced hospital service provider. The Institute hospital takes part in various camps in collaboration with other organization. These includes blood donation camp (from 2006), Pulse polio vaccination camp, Dental Check-up camp, Bone Mineral Density Camp, Eye screening camp etc.

Essential Qualification: MBBS degree with Post-Graduation Degree or Diploma in Psychiatry and
Pathology respectively.
MBBS degree and Post-Graduation degree or Diploma should have got recognition from the Medical Council of India/National Medical Commission.
Candidates should have working knowledge in using computer systems for information processing
and retrieval.
Selection Procedure :
Candidates may appear for a walk-in-interview on 9th August 2024 from 10:30 AM onwards in Interview Room, Administrative Building, IIT Guwahati, Assam
