Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Associate Project Engineer at GATE-JAM office. The appointment will be on contract basis for one (1) year. May be renewed for another year based on performance of the candidate and requirement of the GATE-JAM office. Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, the sixth member of the IIT fraternity, was established in 1994. The academic programme of IIT Guwahati commenced in 1995. At present the Institute has eleven departments, seven inter-disciplinary academic centres and five schools covering all the major engineering , science, healthcare, management and humanities disciplines

Scale of pay: Rs. 35,000 – 49,000 p.m., with an initial basic pay of Rs. 43,000 and an annual
increment of Rs. 1,400. House Rent Allowance (HRA) and Medical facilities as per Institute rules.
Educational Qualifications: Master of Computer Applications (MCA) with minimum 60%
aggregate marks, or 7.0 CGPA
Experience: 05 (Five) years of work experience
Desired Skills: Proficiency in web-designing using CMS tools like WordPress/Joomla, website
maintenance tools in Linux operating system, JavaScript, PHP and AJAX scripting, and office
document processing tools. Proficiency in spoken and written English, capable of multi-tasking.
Experience with online examination process like JEE, GATE, JAM, KVPY, etc.
