Applications are invited for recruitment of various paramedical positions or career in AIIMS Guwahati Assam.

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Guwahati, Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Project Nurse-II for the project entitled, “Family-centered tobacco cessation intervention among indigenous tobacco users in Assam, Nagaland and Andhra Pradesh: A multi-centre feasibility study” funded by the Indian Council Medical Research (ICMR), Government of India under Dr. Limalemla Jamir, Assistant Professor, Department of Community & Family Medicine. Selected candidates will be initially appointed for a period of six (6) months, which upon favourable performance reviews may be extended on half yearly basis for the duration of the project.

Qualification :

Minimum Second Class or equivalent CGPA three-year General Nursing & Midwife (GNM) Course

Desirable :

1. Experience of working in community settings
2. Experience of participating in household surveys/field research projects
3. Experience in health-related counselling
4. Fluency in English, local language and dialects
5. Basic computer skills to operate MS office applications

Additional Criteria :

1. Strong interpersonal communication skills
2. Willingness for extensive field travel
3. Commitment to data quality and ethical research practices

Job Roles :

1. House-to-house interviews

Salary : Rs. 20,000/- p.m. + 18% HRA (Rs. 3600/-) = Rs. 23,600/- p.m.
