Guwahati: Massive protests were reported in Golaghat, Assam after the alleged murder of a young businessman.
As per reports, the protest took place in Kakochang located in Bokakhat.
Royal Ronghang, a young businessman, was allegedly ambushed and murdered last night on Naharjan Kakojan Road.

Unidentified assailants attacked him inside his car near the border of the Karbi Anglong and Golaghat districts.
Royal was reportedly on his way home from Bokakhat when the attack occurred.
His body was found on Monday morning drenched in blood.

Following the incident, locals took out massive protests against the murder and demanded strict action from the police on those who were responsible.
No arrests were made till the filing of this report but the police stated that an investigation had been initiated.
