Tinsukia College Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Project Research Scientist – I (Non-Medical) under the ICMR sponsored `Extramural Investigator-Initiated Project’ entitled “Determination Of The Key Factors In The Community Behavior, Control And Prevention Of Dengue And Japanese B- Encephalitis In Assam And Arunachal Pradesh” under Dr. Nipen Nayak. The inception of Tinsukia College in the year 1956 was the result of the strenuous efforts of Late B. K. Saraswatji who mobilized all required resources with the help of like-minded citizens of Tinsukia, a part of the then Lakhimpur District to give rise to this great institution.

Essential Qualification:
1st Class Post Graduate Degree from a recognized University with 2 years experience in relevant field.
or
2nd Class Post Graduate Degree with Ph.D. in relevant subject from a recognized University.
Desirable:
Ph.D. with proficiency in quantitative and qualitative field experience and knowledge of statistical data analysis.
Monthly Consolidated Emoluments: Rs. 56,100/- per month (consolidated) + 9% HR
Upper age -limit for fresh recruits: 35 years
