Salary : Fixed pay of Rs.35,412/- per month (consolidated)

Essential Qualification :
i) A good academic record, with also a Ph.D in Demography/Population Studies/ Statistics/ Economics/ Mathematics/Sociology/Psychology/Anthropology/Geography.
ii) A Master’s Degree with also at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed)
iii) A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and/ or research altogether n a academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/Industry with a minimum of seven publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of Seventy five (75) as per the criteria in Appendix II, Table 2.
iv) Subject: Master’s Degree in Demography/Population Studies/Statistics/Economics/
Mathematics/Sociology/Psychology/Anthropology/Geography. Persons with P.G. Degree other
than Demography/Population Studies should have completed a minimum one year regular course
in Demography/population studies at a recognized institution/University
Salary : Rs. 1,31,400-2,17,100/- Plus other usual allowances as admissible under G.U. Rules.

Application Fees :
For the post of Lower Division Clerk, candidates will be required to pay an amount of Rs. 500/-
(Rupees Five Hundred) only through SBI Collect as an application fee for the post.
For the post of Associate Professor, candidates will be required to pay an amount of Rs. 1000/-
(Rupees One Thousand) only through SBI Collect as an application fee for the post. For SC / ST candidates, the application fee is Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred)
