Music maestro AR Rahman who was declared as the brand ambassador of Sikkim in January, was in Imphal, Manipur recently.
He was in Imphal to produce a documentary film, on Friday.
The singer is working with folk singer, Lourembam Bedapati Devi on a project to create fusion music with old Manipuri songs.
The shooting was done at Sendra, various places of Loktak lake and Keibul Lamjao.
After becoming the brand ambassador of Sikkim, this is his second visit to the northeast region.
He was declared as the brand ambassador of Sikkim in the grand opening ceremony of Sikkim Red Panda Winter Carnival 2017-18 in January, this year.
