The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) on Thursday asserted that it remained committed to its aims, objectives and the sacred commitments made to the people of Nagaland.
“We reiterate our declaration of working tirelessly for the all-round uplift of the people’s welfare,” the NDPP said during the observation of its first foundation day at the party headquarters here on Thursday. The party observed the day with a thanksgiving prayer service.
The major coalition partner of ruling People’s Democratic Alliance also assured to strive for achievement of a redrawn roadmap of development, enforce transparency and combat corruption at all levels, NDPP Media & Communications Committee said in a release.
The release said the NDPP was formed as a response to the desire of the people for an alternative and the need for a movement to bring positive change.
The NDPP said it will remain focused on its agenda and will not be distracted by the lies and false propaganda of adversaries as it respects the mindset and maturity of the people.
The party also called upon all sections of the people to join it in its collective endeavor to bring about positive change, as every citizen is a stakeholder in the future of Nagaland. “It is our aim that no person should be left behind in the new journey of growth and progress,” the release stated.
The party further expressed its sincere thanks and appreciation to the people of Nagaland for their love, support and solidarity.
