Guwahati City FC (GCFC) is set to hold trials for its under 18 youth team on 5-6 April at Horticulture Research Station, Kahikuchi.

The club will hold the trials in association with Sportscraft Management, Narayana Superspeciality Hospital Guwahati and Egua.

Club Director Kaustab Chakraborty has requested all aspiring players to report at 8 AM in the field on May 5.

The players must bring authentic age proof certificate and photo ID. Date of birth must be between May 1, 2000 and April 30, 2003.

GCFC will also form its U-15 and U-13 teams soon. Soccer schools in various parts of the city and a youth academy will also be launched soon, said chakraborty.

He also informed that the club will start a professional league featuring 6 to 13 years old footballers in adherence to All India Football Federation’s ambitious baby league.
