Sensation prevailed in Barpeta district’s Kalgachia after a girl was found hanging to the ceiling in her home.
It looked like a suicide but the girl’s family has suspected it to be a murder.
The girl’s family has alleged that she was murdered by her “lover” and tried to portray the entire incident as a suicide.
The deceased identified as 18-year-old Mofiza Khatun was found hanging in her room.
Her family claimed that it was Baharul Islam who had allegedly killed her when no one was at home.

As per her family, Baharul and Mofiza had an affair but Baharul had not told Mofiza about his marriage.
When Mofiza came to know that Baharul was already married, they started having problems and had frequent fights.
They further said, that on Sunday, when the entire family had gone out for some work, Baharul came into the house knowing that Mofiza was alone and murdered her.

The police have started an investigation into the matter and are checking all the aspects.
