The police in Tripura’s North district have recovered and seized contraband items worth over Rs 3.5 crore.
The contraband items were recovered following raids at two locations.
While one of the raid was conducted at Churaibari, the other was conducted at Panisagar.
Three persons have also been arrested in connection with the seizures.

While in the first raid conducted at Churaibari, as many as 25,000 bottles of banned cough syrup – Phensedyl was recovered.
In the other raid at Panisagar, a total of 4655 bottles of Phensedyl cough syrup and 31,824 numbers of contraband tablets were recovered.
