Missionaries of Charity, the organisation founded by Mother Teresa, has clarified that none of its bank accounts have been frozen by the ministry of home affairs (MHA).

“…there is no freeze ordered by the Ministry of Home Affairs on any of our bank accounts,” Missionaries of Charity said in a statement.

“Bank transactions are working fine. Everything is fine,” Missionaries of Charity spokesperson Sunita Kumar was quoted as saying by India Today.
