Troops of Assam Rifles along with Manipur police in joint operations nabbed three militants belonging to two different proscribed rebel outfits in Bishnupur and Imphal West districts on Tuesday and Wednesday, said defence statement.
Of the three, two belong to KCP (N) and one belongs to Prepak (Pro), the statement added.
Based on specific intelligence from reliable sources, the Khoupum, Loktak and Mantripukhri battalions of the Assam Rifles along with the police launched three separate operations and apprehended the militants.
One hand grenade was recovered from one of the KCP (N) insurgents from Bishnupur market, it said
