Mizoram chief minister Zoramthanga met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Tuesday.
Mizoram chief minister Zoramthanga called on PM Narendra Modi at the latter’s office in Parliament.
Both the leaders discussed issues pertaining to the state of Mizoram.
The issue of border dispute with Assam was also reportedly raised by the Mizoram CM.
This meeting of Mizoram CM Zoramthanga with the Prime Minster follows his and Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma’s meeting with union home minister Amit Shah last week.

Assam and Mizoram decided to form committees for resolving the border disputes between the two states through discussions.
The decision was taken during a meeting between Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and his Mizoram counterpart Zoramthanga in New Delhi last week.
Union home minister Amit Shah was also present at the meeting, which discussed the ways and means to resolve the border issues between the two Northeast states amicably.
The meeting also decided that the two Chief Ministers would also hold talks from time to time to take forward the efforts to a logical conclusion and a lasting solution of the long-pending border disputes along their 164.6 km borders.
