Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday said the state government has decided that question papers for the APSC Combined Competitive Exam will be set in Assamese too.
While talking to the media at the Assam Administrative Staff College, Khanapara in Guwahati, chief minister Sarma said in the existing APSC Combined Competitive Exam Rules 1989, question papers are set only in English.

He informed that the candidates can write answers in the examination but “this does not have official legitimacy”.
