A man allegedly involved in an inter-state kidney transplant racket in Uttarakhand has been arrested from Guwahati.

The Dehradun Police arrested Akshay Raut, who was absconding since 2017 and had a reward of Rs 20,000 on his head, from Guwahati after four years.

He was taken to Dehradun on five-day transit remand on Tuesday.
