The Indian women’s cricket team has pulled off an astonishing win against Australia on Sunday.
Indian eves produced a fine batting display to beat Australia in the 3rd ODI at Harrup Park in Mackay.
Chasing 265 for a win, the Indian eves reached the target with three balls to spare.
This win has ended Australia’s unbeaten world record streak of 26 matches.
The Australian women cricket team had previously lost an ODI in October 2017 against England.

Chasing 265, the India eves finished on 266/8, which is the team’s highest total while chasing.
Half-centuries from Shafali Verma (56 off 91 balls) and Yastika Bhatia (64 off 69 balls) set the tone of the run chase.
However, the Indian team has lost the three-match ODI series 1-2.
The Indian eves had lost the first two matches of the series earlier.
With a win in the last ODI, the Indian team ended the series on a high.

The focus will now shift to the one-off pink ball Test between the two teams.
The Test match will be played at the Carrara Oval in Queensland from September 30.
