NEET 2021 was conducted across the country and abroad on September 12, 2021.

According to reports, around 16 lakh candidates appeared NEET 2021 for the undergraduate medical and dental entrance examination.

After the examination, the National Testing Agency (NTA) now gears up to release the NEET 2021 answer key and then result on its website neet.nta.nic.in.

There are reportedly about 55,000 seats under NEET for pursuing medical and dental courses.

For getting admission in a medical or dental college, a candidate has to qualify and then appear for counselling.

The answer key for the NEET 2021, examination for which was conducted on September 12, is expected to be released on September 12 and the result is expected to be declared on September 25, 2021.

The NEET 2020 was held on September 13 and the answer key was released on September 26 and the result was declared on October 16, 2020.

The expected category-wise cut-offs for NEET 2021 are as follows:

Unreserved/General (50th Percentile): 710 – 130
SC/ST/OBC (40th Percentile): 120 – 98
Unreserved PH (45th Percentile): 125 – 90
ST/SC/OBC PH (40th Percentile): 110 – 90

The students should note that they need to score 50 percentile in NEET to qualify the examination.

The students get admissions on the basis of the merit list.
