Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has exuded confidence of the BJP putting up an excellent show in the 2022 Assembly Elections. 

UP CM Yogi Adityanath said that the BJP will win over 300 seats in the upcoming Assembly elections in the State. 

“We will go amid the public with the work we have done. I am confident that BJP will win over 300 seats in the upcoming state elections,” CM Adityanath said at Express e-Adda of The Indian Express. 

During the interactive session CM Adityanath spoke on a host of issues including 2022 Assembly elections, controversial ‘Love Jihad’ issue and Uttar Pradesh’s COVID-19 management.

This statement from Yogi Adityanath came at a time when all within the UP BJP seems to be not well.  

Meanwhile, the ruling BJP is making every possible effort to project a united front and dispel rumours about discontent or alleged differences between the central and state leadership.  

Speaking on COVID-19 management in Uttar Pradesh Adityanath said: “Some said that a case of murder must be registered against the Election Commission. I want to ask, were there any elections in Maharashtra or Delhi, was there a Kumbh there?”
