The Aizawl Battalion of 23 Sector Assam Rifles has recovered arms from Lailiphai in Mizoram’s Champhai district.
The arms seized included one 9 MM pistol and two single barrel rifles.
The Charlie company of the Aizawl Battalion conducted an operation at Lailiphai on Saturday during which they seized the arms.

The Assam Rifles jawans also apprehended an individual in connection to this.
The individual along with the arms were ChampAsshai Police Station.
A case has also been registered against the individual for illegally possessing arms.
