Assam reported 48 more Covid19 deaths and 3,299 new positive cases in the last 24 hours.
According to the Covid19 media bulletin, released by NHM Assam on Sunday evening, the state’s positivity rate stood at 9.13%.
The new cases were confirmed out of 36,135 tests.
Assam currently has 36,005 active Covid19 cases.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 4,045 patients, who were earlier infected by Covid19, were discharged after their recovery from the disease.
Of the new cases, Kamrup Metro reported 1,346 cases, Dibrugarh – 228, Tinsukia – 148 and Kamrup Rural district reported 137 cases.
As per the bulletin, on Sunday, the death cases were reported from Kamrup Metro – 17, Kamrup (R) – 4 Dibrugarh – 3, Karbi Anglong – 3, Sonitpur – 3, Tinsukia – 3, Bongaigaon – 2, Cachar – 2, Jorhat – 2, Lakhimpur – 2, Barpeta – 1, Dhemaji – 1, Goalpara – 1, Hojai – 1, Nalbari – 1, Sivasagar – 1 and Udalguri – 1.
The cumulative tests per million carried out in Assam are 2.64 lakh.
The recovery rate stands at 86.65% while the death rate stands at 0.57%.
According to the bulletin, the number of Covid19 positive patients, who died due to other reasons, is 1,347.
