A massive fire broke out at the Axis Bank at Pathsala in Bajali district of Assam amid Bohag Bihu celebrations on April 14.
However, since the bank was closed on account of Bihu celebrations, no one was injured.
The fire though caused much damage to the property of the Axis bank.
According to police sources, the fire broke out inside the bank premises at around 10.30 am.

Within minutes the fire spread and locals noticing it informed the police.
Firefighters reached the spot and finally managed to bring the fire under control.
According to sources, the fire broke out due to a short circuit.
Meanwhile, officials of the Axis bank were unavailable for comment.
