Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Pema Khandu has laid the foundation of a model residential school at Pakke Kessang district.

This government residential school will be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to facilitate the learning process.

Union minister of state for youth affairs and sports Kiren Rijiju was also present on the occasion.

The chief minister had also inaugurated the Nyubu Nyvgam Yerko, a special school for indigenous language and knowledge systems at Rang village in Seppa in East Kameng district.

The school is modeled on the ancient Gurukul system of education.

“Laid the foundation for construction of model residential school at Govt Secondary School Pakke Kessang. Also attended a public meeting at Lemmi, district headquarters of Pakke Kessang,” Pema Khandu tweeted.
