The Congress is continuing with its barrage of attacks on the BJP Government at the Centre over high prices of petrol and diesel in the Country.

Senior Congress leader Randeep Surjewala on Friday criticised the BJP-led Central Government over unabated hikes in prices of petrol and diesel in the Country.

While calling the BJP as ‘Bhayankar Janloot Party’, Randeep Surjewala accused the Government of looting Rs 21.50 lakh crore through taxes imposed on petrol and diesel prices since May 2014.

The Congress has demanded the Centre to “stop looting people of the Country” and immediately cut the prices of petrol and diesel.

“BJP’s should be renamed as – ‘Bhayankar Janloot Party’. Congress demands that the BJP Government should stop oil loot and give relief to the people of the country by cutting prices of petrol and diesel,” Randeep Surjewala said.
