Former Assam chief secretary Vijendra Singh Jafa has died of cancer.
The retired IAS officer, who has been suffering from cancer for the last nine years, passed away on Wednesday morning in Gurgaon.
His last rites were performed at Bhondsi village on Sohna-Gurgaon road on the outskirts of Delhi.
