Mizoram Covid-19 recovery rate has reached 99 per cent on Sunday as seven more people have recovered from the infection, an official said
The number of active cases now stands at 33 while a total of 4,330 people have already recovered from the infection, he said.
The infection rate also showed a downward trend and it now stands at 2.11 per cent, he added.
Mizoram on Sunday reported six more Covid-19 cases.
An 82-year-old and two children were among the newly infected people.
Of the six fresh cases, 5 were reported from Aizawl district while one case was reported from Kolasib district.
While one person was confirmed in a private hospital, one patient was diagnosed with the infection during contact tracing and it is to ascertain how the remaining four patients contracted the infection.
