The Nagaland government has announced prize money for the logo design competition for Universal Health Coverage (UHC) Nagaland, a dedicated society under the Nagaland health department.

The state government has announced prize money of Rs 10,000 for the winner.

The competition, which started on Thursday, will end on Friday (December 18, 2020), the Nagaland government said.

The primary objective of the society is to implement public health insurance schemes (including PMJAY) for citizens in Nagaland towards achieving the sustainable development goal (SDG) for “Universal Health Coverage”.

The health insurance scheme will cover financial risk protection, access to quality essential health-care services and access to safe, effective, quality and affordable essential medicines and vaccines for all.

The logo/symbol is expected to be used extensively for products that are made in the country.

The logo/symbol should be vibrant and modern.

Each entry should include a logo unit/symbol along with a detailed logic and explanation of rational and creative thoughts (not more than 100 words).

Each entry should be accompanied by a brief written explanation of the logo and how best it
encapsulates its essence (not more than 100 words).

All entries must be submitted through creative corner section of www.mygov.in.

Entries
submitted through any other medium/mode would not be considered for evaluation.

The contest is open for Indian citizen only.

Each participant can submit only one entry. The submission of entry is free.

The logo design must be original and should not violate any provision of the Indian Copyright Act,
1957 or the Intellectual Property Rights of any third party.

The logo should not have been previously published in any print and digital media and must not contain any provocative, objectionable, or inappropriate content, the state government said on its website.

The logo should be submitted in JPEG, PNG or PDF format only.

The logo should be designed in colour. The designed logo shall be provided in both CYMK and RGB
formats.

The size of the logo may vary from 5cm*5cm to 60cmx60cm in either portrait or landscape.

The logo design should not be imprinted or watermarked.

Payment to the winner will be made through electronic mode for which the necessary bank
details will be taken after the declaration of the winner of the contest.
