The BJP has appointed party national vice president M Chuba Ao as in-charge of Meghalaya.
Ao is a former State president of the Nagaland BJP. He has taken over as the Meghalaya in-charge in place of Nalin Kohli who has been shifted as the in-charge of the party in Nagaland.
“The state unit of BJP Meghalaya welcomes Chuna Ao and looks forward to growing under his guidance. BJP Meghalaya Pradesh has resolved to take the message of development to the people, and to provide a corruption free alternative to the state,” the Meghalaya BJP unit said.
