Delhi University (DU) on Saturday released the third cut-off list for admission to undergraduate courses in its colleges.

The university’s latest cut-off list is available at its website du.ac.in.

According to the third cut-off list, many courses have been closed, besides some of the seats under the second list, which were closed, have been reopened in some colleges and the students have been allowed to change courses/colleges after the second list, says a media report.

For the popular courses and colleges, the cut-off marks are still high.

In the Lady Sri Ram College, the first cut-off was 100% and in the third list, the cut-off mark remains at 99.5%.

However, there has been a dip in cut-off marks in several other courses as well as colleges.

A marginal dip of only 0.5% has been seen in the third cut-off as compared to the second list.

The cut-off marks for BA Honours (Economics) of Aryabhatta College for the general category stands at 95.75% while Rajdhani College’s cut-off for BA Honours (Economics) for the general category stands at 95%.

According to the third list, the cut-off marks for BSc (Mathematics) is 93.25%, 92% for Chemistry and 88% for Botany while admissions to Zoology have been closed.

Reportedly, a total of 52,183 students so far have deposited admission fees in Delhi University.

The registrar of the University of Delhi, Dr Vikas Gupta in a notification issued on October 24 said: “The third cut-off list for admissions to various Undergraduate Courses (based on merit) of the University of Delhi for the Academic Year 2020-2021 will be notified/displayed by the different colleges of the University by Monday, 26th October, 2020.”

“The details of the minimum cut-off percentage of marks (third admission list) at which admissions to various courses have been offered by different colleges are given in the enclosed charts,” it said.

“The eligible candidates who meet the requirements notified in the Third Admission Cut-Off list are further advised to complete their admission formalities through online mode within the stipulated time, as notified earlier on the University Website,” it added.
