Chatra Mukti Sangram Samiti (CMSS), Sivasagar district committee on Monday burnt the effigy of Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal at Amguri town in Sivasagar district demanding arrest of ‘supari’ mafia Abdul Hannan Ali, who had allegedly tried to kidnap Bidyut Saikia, general secretary of Chatra Mukti Sangram Samiti, Asom.
The activists of Chatra Mukti Sangram Samiti, Sivasagar district committee led by its president Ritumoni Hazarika and Dulal Kalita gathered at Amguri town and burt the effigy of Sarbananda Sonowal by shouting various slogans and demanded the police administration to nab ‘supari’ mafia Abdul Hannan Ali and his employee Madhab Saikia.
The organization also alleged that black days for the State are coming during the tenure of Sarbananda Sonowal regime.
