Stormy TV- a youth-oriented Online Video sharing and the live streaming platform- has hit back on the student organisations that accused it of taking undue advantages and blackmailing girls by trapping them and forcing them to join “adult jobs”.

Stormy TV founder Kuldeep Bhayana, in an official statement, said, ” This is really unfortunate that people are taking our initiative in the wrong direction.”

“The allegations are completely false, baseless and fake,” he added.

“We had initially asked them to take down our name but they did not do that, and thus forced us to issue them legal notice for defamation,” Bhayana further said.

“None from these organizations ever contacted us for any clarification. We can assure you that our platform will never use any of the contestant’s images or details for any kind of illegal work,” Bhayana said.

“Few notorious people and organisation with vested interest and personal enmity have tried to spread baseless rumours,” he said.

“These people have tried to link Stormy TV and its management to random links on the internet that have no direct or indirect connection to Stormy TV or any of its founders or any other staff members,” he said.

“We will keep everyone informed on the progress of our legal action via our social media and other outreach mediums,” Bhayana added.

Stormy TV recently organized online audition, selfie contest, through Instagram and their website.

It was defamed by a few north-eastern students’ groups based in Bangalore and Delhi, for its integrity and content.
