Bollywood actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aradhya Bachchan have also tested positive for COVID-19, Maharashtra health minister Rajesh Tope confirmed on Sunday.
Jaya Bachchan has tested negative for the virus.
“Smt. Aishwarya Rai Bacchan & Daughter Aaradhya Abhishek Bacchan have also been detected positive for Covid19. Smt. Jaya Bachhan ji is tested negative for covid19. We wish the Bacchan Family to get well soon with a speedy recovery,” Tope said.
The Bachchan family had undergone COVID-19 tests after Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan tested positive for the virus on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the Nanavati Super Specialty Hospital said Amitabh Bachchan is stable with mild symptoms and he has been kept at the hospital’s isolation unit.
