With an aim to spread awareness and disseminates the right information about COVID-19 among the people, the BHB College, Sarupeta in collaboration with IQAC organized an online ‘COVID-19 Awareness Quiz 2020’ competition recently.
The completion was hosted by SWAYAM (Study Webs of Active-Learning for Young Aspiring Minds) unit of BHB College.
More than 1,400 participants enthusiastically participated in the contest from all over the India.
The online quiz has no registration fee where the minimum score was 30% or above to get an e-Certificate instantly through mail.
“B.H.B. College is the first to introduce this type of online quiz in Assam during COVID-19 pandemic. Birinchi Kumar Das, Principal B.H.B. College was the chief Patron of the online quiz who played a key role and gave bursting support in the entire event,” said Preeti Rekha Dutta, SWAYAM mentor of B.H.B. College.
Dutta conceptualized and coordinated the online event.
The program gained overwhelming response from across India in the form of queries and vow to spread the received message to others to combat the outbreak, she said.
