Nagaland registered 14 more COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours.

These are among the 235 samples tested of those who have recently returned from Chennai.

This was informed by state health minister S Pangnyu Phom in his official Twitter handle on Friday morning.

Phom tweeted:

‘14 new positive cases of COVID-19 has been reported in the last 24 hours out of 235 samples tested.All the samples tested were from Chennai Returnees.

Positive.     : 94

Active.        : 94

Recovered : 00

Death.         : 00

Update at 8:40 am, 5th June, 2020.’

With this the total number of COVID-19 positive cases in the State went up to 94.

Notably, all the cases are active without a single recovery till date.

However, no death from coronavirus has been reported in the State.
