Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor, who was recently diagnosed with coronavirus and discharged from the hospital, said she would donate her plasma for patients fighting COVID-19.
Kapoor was the first Bollywood celebrity to test positive for COVID-19 and her result came out on March 20.
The singer, who has been in the news for the wrong reasons after she tested COVID-19 positive, informed about her decision in an Instagram post.
It was learnt that a team of doctors from King George Medical (KGMU), Lucknow, will test her blood and check if she can donate her plasma.
If the test result comes positive, then Kapoor would donate her plasma either on Tuesday or on Wednesday.
