Lotha Mhonka Okho- a WhatsApp group from Wokha district in Nagaland, donated a sum of Rs 2,16,355 towards the DC’s COVID-19 Relief Fund on Friday.
The amount was donated by the members of the group and some free will donors, this was announced in a joint statement by M Nrithung Russell Humtsoe, the convener of COVID-19 Relief Fund and RM Lotha, the Chief Administrator of the Lotha Mhonka Okho.
The amount was handed over to Wokha deputy commissioner Orenthung Lotha at his official residence.
The WhatsApp group further pledged to stand by the administration in the fight against COVID-19.
