Bangladesh deputy education minister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury informed that the education ministry is planning to extend the shutdown of all educational institutions till Eid holidays.
“The decision has been taken amid the COVID-19 outbreak in the state,” Chowdhury said.
He further informed that the education ministry is going to announce holidays until the start of the holy month of Ramadan.
So far nine persons have died in Bangladesh due to coronavirus and the total number of infected persons was 88.
