With four more new cases reported from different parts of the country, the number of coronavirus positive cases in India increased to 151 on Wednesday.
A media report quoted the Union health & family welfare ministry as saying that out of the total of 151 people affected by the virus, 126 are Indians and 25 foreigners.
According to the health ministry data, Maharashtra is on the top of the list of recording positive coronavirus or Covid-19 cases with 42 cases.

Maharashtra has been followed by Kerala with 27, Uttar Pradesh – 16 and Karnataka with 11 positive cases.
The ministry also said more than 5,700 people, who came in contact with the positive cases, are under strict surveillance.
The national capital has so far reported 10 positive cases including a foreigner.
As per the Union health ministry data, a total of 14 people have been discharged so far.
Among the discharged people three patients are from Kerala.
More than 11,500 people have been infected with the novel coronavirus globally increasing the total number of confirmed cases above 179,000, the World Health Organisation said on Tuesday.
On Tuesday, a total of 475 people died of the infection taking the global death toll to 7426, the report stated.
Three persons have lost their lives in India due to coronavirus.
On Wednesday, Union health and family welfare minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan chaired a high-level review meeting with senior officials of the ministry, MS/director of central government hospitals such as Safdurjung, Dr RML Hospital and AIIMS in Delhi.
The Union health minister appreciated the various actions being undertaken in close coordination with various ministries at the central level, States as well as Indian embassies abroad.
He also lauded the states for active surveillance, effective contact tracing and their preparedness for containment and management of COVID-19.
He reviewed the preparedness regarding hospital management such as OPD blocks, availability of testing kits, personal protective equipment (PPEs), medicines, and adequate isolation wards.
He directed hospitals to ensure adequate availability of protective gear for all healthcare workers.
