Polling for the election to the lone Rajya Sabha seat in Meghalaya will be held on March 26.
The biennial elections to the Council of States are necessitated to fill the seats of 55 members of Rajya Sabha elected from 17 states as they are retiring in April this year.
Wansuk Syiem, the two-time Rajya Sabha MP from Meghalaya will expire her term on April 12 this year.
Meghalaya which has 60 MLAs has only one Rajya Sabha MP.
