A hotel and a blacksmith shop were gutted in a major fire that broke out in Sunday night in Pathsala town.
The fire broke out due to a cylinder explosion in the charred hotel.
As the fire spread to nearby shops, local shopkeepers rushed to the spot and tried to douse the fire and save their properties.
The police and fire engines rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control.
No human casualties have been reported in the fire.
The total loss due to the fire is yet to be estimated.
