Arunachal Praadesh deputy chief minister Chowna Mein, accompanied by State Legislative Assembly Speaker P D Sona and MLA Zingnu Namchoom on Thursday inspected the ongoing work on the museum at the Assembly secretariat.

The museum will depict the origin, growth and functioning of the Assembly as well as the rich cultural heritage of the State.

The deputy chief minister, who has been seeking preservation of the rich cultural heritage of the State through research and other means, expressed happiness over the ongoing work.

He asked the officers concerned and officials to ensure all information and facts are duly verified and authenticated.

He suggested expert guidance and do extensive research to authenticate the facts.

Earlier, special secretary to the Speaker, P N Thongchi gave a detailed overview of the museum.

He highlighted various aspects of the museum and said that the museum will be equipped with 3D sculptures, handmade paintings, customized 3D paintings and photographs of the former chief ministers, speakers, deputy speakers and other renowned figures of the State.
