An exhibition cum sales is being organized by District Mission Management Unit (DMMU) Assam State Rural Livelihoods Mission (ASRLM) in Kokrajhar.
The three-day programme is organized under Panchayat and Rural Development department, Government of Assam near Bazar India Shopping Mall the heart of Kokrajhar town.
The objective of the exhibition cum sale is aimed at market promotion and showcasing of the products by self help groups.
Kokrajhar deputy commissioner Partha Pratim Mazumdar inaugurated the exhibition in presence of other dignitaries and members of SHGs on Saturday.
A wide range of products produced and made by members of self help groups were on displayed at the exhibition.
These included handicraft, cane & bamboo products, organic and natural products, metal crafts etc.
Over 40 SHGs are participating in the exhition.
The exhibition cum sale will continue till Monday.
