Group Captain R K Misra took over the charge of Air Force Station Missamari from Group Captain S K Pillai recently in Assam Sonitpur district.
Group Captain R K Misra is an alumnus of Air Force Technical College, Bangalore.
He was commissioned in the Technical Branch of Indian Air Force on May 27, 1996.
The officer has commanded four Communication & IT Units in the past.
He has worked as senior technical officer in a frontline fighter squadron and was associated with ISRO’s Human Space Mission Project at Institute of Aerospace Medicine, Bangalore.
The officer did his bachelor of engineering degree from Ravishankar University Raipur, M Tech from DIAT, Pune and MBA from FMS, Delhi University.
