A delegation of Numaligarh Refinery Employees Association  on Wednesday contributed an amount of Rs 23,22,130 to the Assam Chief Minister’s Relief Fund in order to help the flood affected people in the State.

The cheque of Rs 23,22,130 was handed over to chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal at Assam Legislative Assembly on Wednesday.

Moreover, Dispur Hospital  and Assam Cricket Association also made contributions to the Assam Chief Minister’ s Relief Fund on Wednesday.

Dispur Hospital  and Assam Cricket Association both made a contribution of Rs 5 lakh each to the Assam Chief Minister’ s Relief Fund.

AIUDF members also contributed Rs 5 lakh to the CM Relief’s Fund.

Besides, several other organisations, MLAs, government employees and individuals also contributed to the Assam CM’s relief Fund.

As a gesture to support the flood affected people of Assam, Hyundai Motor India Limited on Tuesday contributed Rs. 1 crore to the Assam CM’s Relief Fund (CMRF).

The cheque of Rs 1 crore was handed over to Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal at Brahmaputra State Guest House in Guwahati on Tuesday.

Aakash Institute, a reputed coaching institute for engineering and medical entrance exams, also contributed Rs 51 lakh to the Assam CM’s relief Fund on Monday.
